This course is designed for anyone wanting to become an accredited first aider or appointed person. Candidates must be 18 years and over and work in a low hazard environment. Up to 12 candidates per course. All candidates will receive course material, first aid books and an accredited certificate lasting three years.
Who should attend this course?
The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require employers to make an assessment of the risks to health and safety to their employees at work.
What type of business are you? Is there a high risk of injury at work or a lower risk? What is your past history of injury in the work place?
These questions will help you decide what type of First Aid Course you should be booking. Where there is a higher risk of injury you should be looking at a three day FAW course. A lower risk e.g office type environment then the one day EFAW should be sufficient. If you are in doubt then please contact us and we will be happy to guide you in your decision.
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 states that it is a legal requirement to ensure employers have an adequate number of suitable trained first aiders.
